A.R.E.
hosted a very successful 75th Anniversary Open House
celebration on Saturday. June 17. More than 550 individuals
took part in various events that day, including a
feature presentation that included Virginia Beach
Mayor, Meyera Oberndorf, declaring June 17 as “A.R.E.
Day.”
The hour-long program was emceed by Kevin Todeschi and included
short talks by: Edgar Evans Cayce, Edgar Cayce’s youngest son;
Sidney Kirkpatrick, author of Edgar Cayce: An American
Prophet; Charles Thomas Cayce, reading congratulations from
personalities such as Shirley MacLaine and Willie Nelson; and
the unveiling of A.R.E.’s beautiful new dolphin statue painted
with the seven spiritual centers. Those who attended the program
found it a wonderful tribute to A.R.E.’s 75 years of service!
An additional report of the event and pictures will be forthcoming
in the next issue (Sept/Oct 2006) of Venture Inward
magazine.
